“Healthy Choice for A Worthy Change”
By Respect Magazine
Breathing and Food Analogy
Breathing and eating, two constant things that human do in all their lives. But unfortunately, these actions often make people forget the importance of self-control, providing & processing food that is in harmony with nature and with the food producer. Nowadays, food exploitation spread more evenly and they attempt to provide large quantities of the same kind of food, thus harming our earth. Earth is contaminated by so many kinds of chemicals from synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. A large sum of animals and plants died in the end. Also, the food producers have a higher risk on getting poisoned by the chemical materials.
Let’s Make a Balanced Choice
Although Indonesia is rich with all kinds of food, we are far from being independent. This is because we are not capable (yet) of processing our food. And within the process, we do not appreciate the nature itself by using harmful substances, burning the forest, land exploitation and dealing with unfair government policies. It’s all depending on our choice: are we going to continue the calamity or making efforts to restore the balance and harmony in our lives. Indonesia Berseru is asking you to look deeper on what is in our food? Who is the provider? Is there any impact on the process? And together, let’s think a more sustainable way to consume our food.
