i made sentana

I Made Sentana – Tabla Music
Four years ago, Made discovered the ancient arts of Indian Tabla percussion. Learning Tabla is his first quasi-official musical training, for this is the first time he learns to play a musical instrument under the guidance of a teacher. Melody lines or musical ideas would come up in his head, which he then rendered into songs or musical compositions at his makeshift home studio. His compositions range from blues to techno, mostly spiced with Balinese and Indian elements. Through Tabla, he also discovered the art of Bhajan singing, or Indian devotional singing. Made occasionally accompanies his Tabla Teacher Mr. ABL. Shrivastava singing Bhajans in and outside Jakarta. He recently met several like-minded friends in Jakarta who also enjoy bhajan singing, whom he accompanies with tabla. Made also regularly practices yoga, which is a perfect match for his love of Bhajan singing, to maintain his health and sanity.
